Your carpet is designed to clean your Indoor environment. It does such good job at filtering the air and trapping little particles flying around and stores them deep into the backing of the carpet. So it works as a giant filter but like all filters, it needs to be emptied and clean periodically.
What Is True Deep Cleaning? Some people call it steam cleaning, others call it shampoo, it all means the same thing. But here is the question, is steam cleaning or shampoo the best way for cleaning carpets?
We imagine many of you saying yes, it is and we agree with you. However, Steam cleaning alone is not sufficient to clean most of the carpets out there, shocking huh? Especially if you have kids and pets and you do not vacuum frequently.
We have been to Tracy houses where shoes are not allowed and the owners are always bragging how the carpets have not be cleaned for years still looks clean. Yes, it looks clean, but is it truly clean? The answer is no and I can bet that the filter is full, and needs to be emptied even when the carpet looks spotless.
Will steam cleaning alone empty the filter? the answer, again is no. After the carpet stores all these particles like hair, dead skin, dust, etc., your household vacuum cleaner is not strong enough to empty the that filter. Even the steam cleaning or shampoo truck mount equipment will not empty the filter also. The only thing that works is agitation with a brush like the one we use in the video. Even the manufacture recommends that you use a machine like the one in our video at least once a year. The reason is because they know that for your carpet to be safe in your home the filter need to be properly emptied before steam cleaning.
This is why here at Armstrong Cleaning, our Tracy carpet cleaners thoroughly brush every carpet before we steam clean. It is not economical for us as it takes more than double the normal time needed to clean, but it is the right way and our clients are always extremely happy with the results, which makes it worthy.
